Our research lab focuses on Brain Imaging, and in particular, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). We work with several applications including vascular imaging, stroke, aging, and neurodegenerative diseases. We have a hierarchical experimental paradigm allowing for work from acquisition to big data platforms, including developing low-field prototypes, General Electric 3T and high-performance computing platforms.

We are currently looking for Postdoctoral Fellows to join our diverse team. Requirements include a PhD in Electrical, Software, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines; experience with MRI technologies and medical image analysis; and a track record of high-quality publications.

Calgary offers a full range of seasons with outdoor activities and has ranked as “The most livable city in north America” and regularly scores in the top five by the economic intelligence unit (https://www.eiu.com/). Costs of living are quite low compared with other major Canadian Cities. Our lab has a safe and inclusive culture where we export diverse ideas and viewpoints in research.
